A Win for the Workers of SBM Management Services

The workers at SBM Management Services, a subcontractor at our Merck plant where we hold representation rights for Local 94c, recently voted overwhelmingly to join Local 94c in an RC election. These workers clean many parts of the facility, as well as clean all the laboratory glassware.

The workers of SBM wanted a voice on their jobs, as well as an end to “at will” employment and they wanted the benefits and protections that Local 94c can offer. Local 94c Vice-President Matt Dean (red shirt) and President Ricky Breeden (not pictured) both were very instrumental in this victory for these workers and Council Vice-President Gerry Setley assisted.
